The Trailside has had a long history.  Doug Deacon purchased the old co-op store on Main Street in Mount Stewart in the fall of 1996. Doug and his son Jonas restored the historic building and were recognized with a Heritage Preservation award from the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation for their efforts.  The cafe was opened in the summer of 1997 and four rooms were added upstairs for overnight guests in the summer of 1998. Trailside is a special place, over the years many wonderful musicians have performed on the Trailside stage, and many loyal Islanders regularly enjoy the“music and a meal” presentations at the Trailside Café.   Watch our local arts magazine, The Buzz, and the web for 2011 concert series details.

To buy tickets to our concerts please go to Box Office PEI . If you would like to come in for supper before the show, please call us at 1-888-704-6595 or 676-3130 local.   Suzanne always likes to know how many are coming for supper.

Please note that ticket purchases are non- refundable and not exhangable for alternate dates; when you make a purchase for a specific show, we (artists and staff) are depending on your attendance.   Ticket prices are in Canadian dollars.   Our privacy policy dictates that information you may disclose to Trailside Cafe in order to complete a ticket purchase will not be passed on to anyone.
